Focus on the Horn is a collaborative platform for commentary on contemporary issues in Sudan, South Sudan, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Somalia, and Kenya. Initiated by a group of post-graduate students who met whilst studying at Oxford University, the site acts as a platform for contributions from a variety of researchers, journalists, and activists with expertise on the region. We try to promote diverse viewpoints from individuals around the world, and are always open to new voices and contributions.
